Mara Ellison and Jon Park opened the bench in 2016 after a decade of cabinet work. Pieces are designed to be repaired: full-length tenons, unglued panels, and hardware we can still buy in twenty years.

Lumber is bought within a day's drive. We skip veneer on structural parts. If a top needs to come apart, the screws are where a future woodworker would look for them.

Visitors are welcome during shop hours. If the radio is on, knock anyway — the door sticks in damp weather.
